Allin Harmon served in the Army from 2006 to 2009. Following his military service he graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta and set to work in web design. In 2014, he decided to hop into printer repair, though it never had the reward he had experienced in design. By 2020, a pandemic-influenced furlough turned into a layoff, and Allin was ready to get back to what he loved. His passion for design got him thinking about returning to designing websites. His wife learned about the Code Boot Camp at theClubhou.se through social media and recommended it to him as a way to re-enter the field. Allin recognized the CBC would also be a great introduction to Javascript and the backend of development, areas he knew he needed to step back into the field. With the support of an instructor and classmates, Allin would be on his way to refreshing his skills and updating his knowledge of current trends. So he applied, got started, and is on track to find a new position as a Junior Web Developer. LinkedIn Github
