Angie Lienert - IntelliGenesis
When Angie Lienert decided to expand her Maryland-based tech company, IntelliGenesis LLC, to Augusta—where Lienert was stationed during her time in the U.S. Army—she says their first office was small, out of the way and lonely.
As a cyber, data and software development firm, it wasn’t a great place to help spark creativity or innovation.
That’s when she heard about theClubhou.se. And once she learned more about theClubhou.se, its charter, and what it’s working to accomplish in the community, it just clicked.
For the past five years, IntelliGenesis has run a full-time office out of theClubhou.se, benefiting from great office, classroom and conference room space that can easily transition from desktop training exercises and conference breakout sessions to holiday parties and other social gatherings. In turn, theClubhou.se has provided opportunities to network and engage with other partners, customers and a pipeline of potential employees.
“One of the biggest benefits is the collaboration with partner companies and industries within theClubhou.se space,” says IntelliGenesis’ Rick Ruby, who runs its Augusta office. He says he’s had multiple conversations with companies, which have opened up opportunities to partner together on future contracts. “It’s great having them within arm’s reach and being able to sit down and have those conversations.”
Then there’s just the energy you get from working alongside other people excited to think outside the box and be innovative.
“[In our old office,] there wasn’t any collaboration, excitement or connections to be made,” says Lienert. “theClubhou.se was a gamechanger for us. We wouldn’t have been able to do some of the things we've done the past few years or get our name out there without theClubhou.se. Our membership has been incredibly beneficial. It’s a force multiplier for us. Their network and access to people and customers becomes ours.”
