E-Waste Recycling Event with Tech 4 Success

  • theClubhou.se 100 Grace Hopper Ln., Suite 3700 Augusta, GA, 30901 United States (map)

Come one! Come all! And bring your old electronic waste while you’re at it!

Tech 4 Success is in a year long push to collect one million pounds of electronic waste! Owner Richard Green said, “It is going to be a tall order for us to achieve, but with community support I am pretty sure that we can reach this goal.”

theClubhou.se sponsored collection day will be May 17th, 2022. From 11:00am to 3:00pm, bring your e-waste down to the Georgia Cyber Center. We will be set up on the Food Truck pad on the west side of the Parking Deck. We will have staff helping to direct the flow of traffic and unload your vehicle or trailer.

Over the next few months, begin piling up your items to bring down all at once. If your office or company has a room being used to house all of these old items, now is your opportunity to conscientiously dispose of these items through an experienced electronics recycling company. For organizations with more than 100 items for recycling that are located in Augusta-Richmond County, free pickup services can be arranged. Secure destruction of hard drives and data storage devices will be available on site at a reduced rate.

Richard Green opened up Tech 4 Success in 2018 with the goal of providing a solution to the incredible amount of e-waste in the greater Augusta area which was not being recycled. Since then, he has established a presence on Broad Street, hired and trained employees, and made quality refurbished items available at low costs to those in need. Last week, Tech 4 Success was selected to be the electronics recycling contractor for Augusta-Richmond County. So far Tech 4 Success has been able to divert more than 7,500 pounds of electronic waste from the landfill.

theClubhou.se partnered with member Richard Green’s company Tech 4 Success in 2021 to assist with e-waste efforts. There is a collection container at theClubhou.se for your small electronic waste items including laptops, printers, cables, and keyboards/mice. These small items can be dropped off at any time, so you do not have to wait for the big event in May. A current list of everything Tech 4 Success collects is at the bottom of this page, along with contact information should you have any questions.
