Safer Internet Day is an international education and awareness-raising effort, celebrated in over 100 countries on Feb. 11, 2020. The day brings communities together to address online issues such as cyber bullying and social networking for a safer and better internet.
As part of our PTA Connected initiative, National PTA has teamed up with TikTok to help parents learn more about how their teens are using this highly popular social video sharing app, educate families about safety on the app and guide parents in having open, ongoing conversations with their teens to ensure they are using social media productively and responsibly.
This is an exclusive event open to Title I Middle and High School Students. There will be online streaming of the event along with translation services for our families. We look forward to seeing you soon!
