PyAugusta is a user-group of Pythonistas, those passionate about learning and implementing Python programming. Currently, this is a monthly meeting that will serve as an entry point for those new to python as well as a challenging atmosphere for those looking to advance their skills.
Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect this month:
As in the past, we’ll split up into two groups (Beginners and Intermediate) for the first hour of the night.
In the Beginners track, we’ll continue to work on and teach the basics of Python. Last month’s turnout was really awesome, so I’m looking forward to getting our members even more excited about what Python can do for them. The specifics of what are taught will depend on the skill level and needs of those who attend.
We’ll be changing speed in the Intermediate track this month as we introduce the Pandas data analysis library. We’ll learn how to create various Pandas objects, view, select, and manipulate data, as well as visualize our results.
It should prove to be a great event as always and I really look forward to seeing you all there!
As always, there will be free pizza and drinks provided.
